Aiken University High School Reviews

I attended AUH for 4 years and had an excellent time with friends as well as teachers.

I'm a current student at aiken university. I have been attending this school or three complete years and this is my last year. From personal experince this school is academic emergency. I have struggled all my years attending this school and honestly still am. Aiken university is so focus on the dress code and tardiness to class that the falculity doesn't remember whats really important. For example, test scores, gpa, credits... It's stuff like such thats down bringing the name of the once before aiken university falcons.

If you want your child to get good grades from Aiken University just tell them to go to class and thats it, its a garentee to a good grade. No school work just attendance!

I have a ninth grader in the university high school and I dont feel that she is reciveing the proper education aiken university's students are not going to be prepared for college...

Aiken University is striving to improve. They have incorporated a Positive Behavioral Plan, Uniforms and many extracurricular athletic and academic activities for the students. The academic program is just what the Board of Education made it by continuously lowering the standards; however, some teachers have high expectations of their students and that's great. As an alumni, I feel they have lost a lot of great qualities, but are searching for the answer and need more parental support. Hopefully with the new school year and incoming freshman, parental involvement can be improved and the teachers and staff will have their support.
