“Our Son attended 1st grade at St. Bernard and we were very happy with his progress in reading, spelling and math. I am impressed with the dress code and great communication between parents and teacher. Lets just say my Son has a daily planner and I don't! We look forward to next year and expect the same. The small class room sizes allow for alot of one on one time between students and staff.”

“I would have to say that St. Bernard Elementary is an overall effective school. We have great teachers that try to do their best with the resources that are available to them. There are many parents that take an active roll in helping this school be its best. We don't have many extracurricular activities at the elementary level which is a shame. I would like to see our P.E. teacher come back to our building full time as right now we have to share him with another building. The people at St. Bernard Elementary really do their best to be caring, helpful and of good academic quality.”

“The teachers are GREAT! The feeling you get when you walk in the door is just unexplainable. I am very impressed with the knowledge the students have over some of the other children in the area. I do think they need to work on sporting events for the kids to be involved in through school.(2nd-6th) I think different parents could be more involved it is usually the same parents with all the activities. Lastly, I think some of the kids can be more academically challenged. Overall the school is excellent!”
