Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Reviews

I think that this is a very educational school. It makes learning fun. The teachers are very responsible and fun. And every once in a while this school will hold fn activeties. I am really proud of this school.

I think this school is good if you want strong academic, however I do feel that some children with discipline problems might get away with more if they are paying as opposed to a public school where they would not tolerate certain things. It would be nice if the staff and students were more diversified(black,Asian,Latino,etc.).

As an educator, I can objectively report that CHCA is unmatched in academic, spiritual, athletic, and facility excellence. This may just be the top school in the nation. No where else have I seen such a commitment to the individual child's success in all areas. Do whatever you can to send your children here!

My son is in second grade and has been at the school since Kindergarten. Still not sure how I am going to pay for this years tuition, but will have to find a way because of the awesome environment, both social/emotional and learning. He has never had a problem with bullies or ever came home repeating bad words if he was in public school. We are def in the low income bracket at this school, but I feel very welcomed in the environment and my son loves going to school. Teachers and parent involvment are the best.

I have one child that just graduated and is a freshman at a very good University. He learned great moral values, and a true sense of kindness and tolerance. Qualities that were not forstered in another private school grades K-5. I am so thankful I found this school. I still have one child at the school and would not consider leaving.

I would like to add a word regarding some of the reviews i just read. I respect these parents feeling and truly regret they had such an experience but i must temper these remarks with my experience. The elementary school is described by my 4th grader as a place where you feel like you are at home, the teachers love you and really care about you. They care more that you learn rather than what you score on an individual test. The middle school has its share of issues, but which school doesn't with regard to the age level of these kids. The best teacher you will ever find anywhere is there teaching 6th grade science. You want to learn about motion/bring your rollerblades to school.High school we are not the richest, or even the most social in fact we weren't even christian, and they opened their hearts and friendship to us.

I have three children in the elementary school. My oldest is in 4th grade and has been there through Kindergarten. Thus far, we have been thrilled with all of the teachers. They have been very dedicated and Godly women. All of my children love school so much that they would view not going as a punishment. The school definitely challenges the students and my children's test scores range from the 80th to high 90th percentile. All of my children have grown spiritually as a result of the Cincinnati Hills experience. The weekly chapels are particularly edifying. We have experienced great support from the administration, staff and other parents. Discipline is wonderful. Please check this school out.

Personally, the world it provides for you is all happy go lucky, and it will be hard for the students to adapt to the real world once they go into college. There are also not enough electives. The budgeting system of the school is bad too.

This is about the High School. It provides strong academics, loving teachers, and non-denominational Christian influence. What we have had a struggle with are the cliques and snootiness. If you start your child in kindergarten and send him/her all the way through, you may not need to worry about this. If you transfer in, you may encounter this. If you are not extremely rich (like us), the snootiness may be an issue too.

This is a top-notch school with outstanding staff and students and parents. I feel honored that my daughter is a student there. For once she looks forward to school rather than me having to fight to get her going to school. We did that for many years until she came to Cincti Hills. Thank you CHCA !

Although this school is said to be Christian, it is mostly a private school with a Christian name. It is 'college prep' but not 'spiritual prep'. If you are looking for a school that will get your child ready for secular college and stretch them beyond their limits with 4+ hours of homework each night you are in the right place. But if you are looking for a school that will encourage your child to search through the Bible on their own and really have peace with God, you are definately in the wrong place. This is the way it is for the middle school and high school- rediculous discipline, even crazier amounts of homework and schoolwork, and nobody there to teach your child how to be a good Christian. But contrary to the middle and high schools, the Elementary school is superb. It has an amazing principal and great staff who really instill in your children good firm Christian values. It still stretched your child to grow and get ready for what is ahead, but they are there to help you do that. I give the elem. school an A+. I give the mid. and high school a C- or D.
