Catholic schools in general have been hit hard in our community, and around the nation from what I can tell. Purcell Marian is a school who is rebounding from this and doing its best for the students. Improvements in technology and the overall academic expectations is wonderful to see! There have been a number of changes recently, and that is always hard for former students to see, but change can be good, and in this case it definitely is! There is a dedicated staff for a school grounded in tradition and the Catholic faith, but on the right path for the future.” Posted By: former student Quality Score: 1 2006-02-24 “The academic quality is so-so depending upon how much initiative the student contributes to their own education. The extrcurricullar activities and other sports and music has greatly declined since the opening of the new building. The parent involvement needs to be increaded and emphasized more so by the institution. Seeing how the school does emphasize religion it does have a strong background in that respect.”
