There is a real sense of community at UA--the girls are like sisters, and the teachers are very approachable and friendly. The rotating modular schedule has made me more independent, conscientious, and easygoing--and it shakes things up a bit! There are tons of academic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities to take advantage of. It took our daughter awhile to catch up after being in the public school system,where she took all advanced classes but luckily she's pretty smart and is doing well in the 2nd semester. It was pretty overwhelming for her at first at how far ahead they were. Best decision we've ever made. Due to her high school education she excelled at the college level. On her first job interview she was employed by Owen's Corning as a safety director at one of their plants. She was number 1 out of 150 applioants. Ursuline gave her a strong foundation for education, duty to responsibility, and confidence, as well as an outstanding education.
