Horizon Science Acad. Cincini Reviews

I think that Horizon has been an excellent experience for my son for the past few years. The teachers have a geniune concern for the students. My goal is to become involved this year as a parent. My son was able to travel to Turkey this summer. I feel this was the opportunity of a lifetime. I am truly grateful to Horizon for giving my son this opportunity. I would like to see more of a distinction between grade school versus high school. I would like my son to have that experience. Over all great school!

Horizon's strongest point is the teachers' quality and their teaching ethics. Teachers at HSA really care for each student's achievement and personality. They understood my son's weakness and strength from the beginning and patiently guided him through the middle school years: my son's strongest area grew beyond the high school level and the weakest area is improving with remarkable speed. My son has been very lucky to be enrolled at HSA. It is truly a 'diamond in rough'.

Horizon Science Academy has given more opportunities to our children than we ever thought possible in their education. While it is still a new school, working out a few kinks, it has been amazing to watch the school grow and watch our children grow with it. The leadership in the school is awesome. They are so involved with the students, this isn't just thru the school year but throughout the winter, spring and summer breaks. They really take the time out to get to know your child. The test scores speak for themselves. Academically the children have soared. We travel quite a distance for our children to go to HSA, but we feel we've made a good choice for them. They are certainly getting to enjoy the benefits of that choice. Our 9th grader is going to Turkey for the second time!

This school-(HSA)has several international people in leadership positions who do not understand the needs level of students. The teachers are coming directly from college with no experience. Which causes no structure in the classrooms. Their pursuit of math and science fairs is their main goals. Students are not learning skills to move to the next level. We as parents have talked and looked over the grades of several students and what they are learning is the minimum.
