A Westside tradition for nearly 50 years, Price Hill Chili earned its beloved reputation among Cincinnati natives with its quality food, generous portions and low prices. The recently renovated dining areas are roomy and comfortable and the friendly servers are always ready to rearrange tables and chairs to accommodate any size group.
Signature chili gives the restaurant its name. A sweetly spiced meaty mixture, the chili is available in a bowl, but is best when served up Cincinnati Style-—on hot dogs with cheese (a coney), or over steamed spaghetti (a 2-way), or over steamed spaghetti with cheese (the most popular chili entrée, known as a 3-way) or with optional onions or beans (a 4-way or 5-way).
Customers also crave many other items on the crowded menu. Breakfast is served all day, and the menu includes the Cincinnati favorite, goetta, a fried German dish of sausage and oatmeal. At Price Hill Chili you can order it as a side or as a sandwich.
Sandwiches make up a big part of the menu, and few places in Cincinnati offer a tastier array of them, from special sandwiches, to ones from the grill, to the positively enormous double deckers. The "Hippo" is so stacked with ham, roast beef, cheese and tomato that there’s even a "Little Hippo"!
Price Hill Chili shares its real estate with the Golden Fleece Lounge, so customers are welcome to enjoy drinks from its full-service bar or just pick up a basket of the complimentary fresh popped popcorn from the lounge to snack on with your meal.
