25 Mile Ride: Take a ride into Rabbit Hash, a quaint little river-town long-celebrated for its picturesque setting and its colorful characters. This little community on the banks of the Ohio River features the oldest continually operating General Store.

Family Ride: Families will enjoy a ride to visit Jane's Saddlebag in Union. Jane's is an interactive educational experience including a restored "Saddlebag" home, original stone smokehouse, life-size replica of a 1700's Flatboat, farm animal petting zoo, antiques, collectibles, and more!

For Non-Cyclists and Junior Cyclists Under 12: Young cyclists can enjoy a bike decorating contest and parade as well as playgrounds, miniature golf, hiking trails and other amenities at Big Bone Lick State Park.

Big Bone Lick State Park: Covering 525 acres in Boone County, the park area was a huge, sticky salt swamp which trapped many prehistoric mammals when much of North America was covered in great sheets of ice. The fossilized remains of these animals are still being excavated today, and being sent to museums all around the world. Big Bone’s Outdoor Museum and Discovery Trail provides opportunities to view some of these fossilized remains and as well as replicas of mammals from the pre-historic era.

The American buffalo is the largest of all North American land mammals. Great buffalo herds once roamed this area and provided food, clothing and shelter for the Indians and pioneers. Hunted to near extinction, the last wild buffalo was seen in Kentucky around 1800. The park’s resident herd is an effort to reestablish these animals at Big Bone Lick.
