Description:
Funny Bone on the Levee
* Pauly gained national attention in 1990 when his MTV precedent-setting show, Totally Pauly, became an immediate hit and continued to run for four years, opening the floodgates for television and film roles. * · In 1993, he wrote and starred in a one-hour HBO television special, Pauly Does Dallas, which garnered rave reviews and loyal fans. * He made his feature film debut in the wildly popular Encino Man, the first in a three-picture deal with Disney Studios; Son-in-Law and In the Army Now, followed. Starring roles in Jury Duty (Sony Studios), Bio Dome (MGM) with co-star Stephen Baldwin, and The Curse of Inferno (Showtime) continued to ensure Pauly's popularity with audiences worldwide. * Pauly's five studio movies have grossed a total of well over one hundred and fifty million dollars and are constantly being shown on primetime television and all cable channels. * His first comedy album, The Future of America (WTG/Sony), was named Best Comedy Album by the College Music Journalists (CMJ) in 1991. The National Association of Record Merchandisers (NARM) nominated his second album, Scraps From the Future (WTG/Sony), for a Best Sellers Award. The third recording, Pink Diggly Diggly (Priority Records), taped live at The Comedy Store, paved the way for the fourth. * Pauly is a frequent guest on Howard Stern, David Letterman and Craig Killborn. He is always in the public eye with his many sold out comedy shows throughout the country and most recently Pauly was a headliner at the Montreal Comedy Festival.
