Four free-spirited artists live together in humble surroundings in 19th century Paris. Rodolfo, the poet, meets Mimì, the seamstress, in a candlelit encounter, and sparks fly. Over the course of one year, the bohemians experience love, longing, jealousy and, ultimately, heartbreaking loss. The inspiration for the Broadway sensation Rent, La Bohème brims with intoxicating melodies, appealing characters and a truly affecting love story.
