Through historical and contemporary speeches, literature and documents, Voices of Hope: Human Rights Since the Holocaust explores the inner workings of the human rights movement and the 20th century struggle for social justice. Addressing numerous topics, from the establishment of the United Nations and the civil rights movement to the genocide in Darfur and continued usurpations that face humanity today, VOH brings to stage the inspiring and powerful messages of activists human rights pioneers, past and present, such as Martin Luther King Jr., Elie Weisel, Alice Walker and Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt.
