Saturday, November 21, 2009 - Sunday, January 3, 2010 This free exhibit features toys and games that were played with by generations of Cincinnatians and which now reside in Cincinnati Museum Center's History Collections. The exhibit includes a wide variety of children's playthings, including toy trains and a train layout, dolls from the 19th and 20th centuries, children's books, blocks and building toys, mechanical toys, puzzles and sports equipment. Some highlights of the exhibit include a first edition Monopoly set, complete with sterling silver game pieces, a pair of ice skates dating back to the 1840s, and original Star Wars toys, and their prototypes, made by Cincinnati's Kenner Toy Company.
