Description:
Be sure to remember... FIRST Saturday of each month at 7 p.m. we will gather to play with rhythms of the drum! Enjoy the eclectic rhythms of the drum and other musical instruments created by you...and you...and you! Whether you are an experienced drummer, one who has a natural rhythmic talent, just want to play for the fun it, or simply want to hang out with friends, come and enjoy the abundance of sound with Rhythms of Lifepath drumming circle! http://www.lifepath-2001.com/ ~ Explore the various aspects of playing with sound, rhythm and movement. ~ In addition to the meditative, spiritual fulfillment, drumming is a joyful, playful experience. ~ Drumming reduces stress and releases natural biochemicals which boost the immune system. ~ Remember how to play like children, laugh and just plain have fun! WHO CAN COME? Everyone is welcome to come make music, feel the rhythm of dance, or simply listen. WHAT TO BRING? We do have a small variety of drums, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, Shakers, Rattles, but please feel free to bring your own drum or any instrument you would like to play! We will provide a modest snack/beverage. Please feel free to bring a snack and/or beverage to share. The cost is free, but donations are gratefully accepted! For more information: K.
