Richardson Road Park packs tons of recreational fun into a relatively small space. Situated on just a few acres of land, the park gives visitors nearly every outdoor activity they might desire.
For kids there’s a playground with soft ADA-accessible safety surfacing. Kids can climb, crawl, run and slide while parents watch from the nearby benches.
In fact, everything’s nearby, so depending on the kids’ ages, parents may get in some playtime too. Bring a ball and shoot some hoops at one of the four well-maintained basketball courts.
Tennis anyone? At a time when many parks are covering over their courts in favor of more parking, Richardson Road Park gives tennis players four beautiful courts. The surface is fairly free of cracks and all the nets are in excellent condition. Just bring a friend and a can or two of balls with your rackets and serve up some fun.
Richardson Road Park also has two baseball fields and a soccer practice field. And if you’re lucky, someone may have some horseshoes and you can pitch a few in the park’s horseshoe pits.
Tired from all that exercise? Relax in the shelter. Picnic tables provide the perfect place to have a snack, and you can even heat up your hot dogs, burgers, and other treats on the park grill.
HelloCincinnati Tip: Because of its compact size and many recreational opportunities, Richardson Road Park is the perfect place to host your next family reunion, birthday party, or other big event. Reserve the shelter by calling 859-525-7529 (PLAY).
