Belterra Casino Resort & Spa — located less than an hour from Cincinnati and just a bit farther from Louisville, Ky. — offers riverboat gaming, a plush spa, big-name entertainment and a Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course. It's an entertainment mecca for northern Kentucky and southwestern Ohio.

Belterra's two-story casino promises non-stop action for guests, whether it's slot machines (in denominations from a penny to $100) and blackjack for beginners or luxurious high-limit table games and slot rooms for the more experienced gamblers.

Those wishing to make a weekend of it can stay in one of Belterra's 600 luxuriously appointed hotel rooms or suites. Each room boasts 24-hour bell service, high-speed Internet access, brass fixtures and complimentary Gilchrest and Soames® toiletries, imported from London. Rooms begin at $99 per night. Some rooms command magnificent views of the Ohio River. An outdoor heated pool is open from April 17 to Oct. 31 each year.

Belterra entertainment is about more than gaming. The casino complex's CenterStage Showroom presents several shows per month. Previous performers include the late Dan Fogelberg; Grammy Award-winning balladeer Michael Bolton, Canadian rockers the Guess Who; the iconic Southern rock band, the Allman Brothers Band; country legend Glen Campbell and 1970s powerhouses Grand Funk Railroad, REO Speedwagon and KC and the Sunshine Band. Belterra also hosts periodic boxing championships and other matches. Check Belterra's Calendar for dates and times or to buy tickets online.

Another option is Belterra's par-71 golf course, ranked among the top 20 casino golf courses by Golfweek magazine for its challenging water hazards and bunkers winding among lakes, more than 2,200 trees and rolling hills. Click here for rates. For tee times, call (812) 427–7783.

Need just to relax? The Beleza Salon and Spa provides total pampering, be it a facial, a massage or a beauty treatment. Make your reservation by calling (812) 427–7777, ext. 7062.

Dine in style while you're at Belterra. Whether it's a romantic dinner at Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse or the Aquarium Café, brunch at the Ultimate Buffet, a leisurely meal or cocktails after a round of golf at the Out of Bounds Bar and Grill, coffee at Starbucks or ice cream at Ben and Jerry's, there's something for what you're craving. You can even grab a bite while in the casino itself at the Casino Café (open daily 11 a.m. to 6 a.m.! Check Belterra's Dining webpage for details.

For those planning conferences, meetings or banquets, Belterra has 50,000 square feet of flexible meeting place. Check here for details.
